Michael Jackson

I’d like to take this moment to recognize Michael Jackson.

It may seem like MJ would have no influence on my music, however that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Without MJ the world of music would not be what it is today. He was a truly unique artist, one that we will never see the likes of in any form again.

I’ll keep this brief. I just wanted to extend a hand out to those of you that listen to my music, and simply ask that if you have never actually taken a moment to listen to a Michael Jackson, that you please do so. It doesn’t matter what kind of music you love, MJ truly always made amazing music. They were pop songs that really did bridge so many genres together into a universal form that anyone could relate to.

Some of my personal favorite MJ songs are: The Way You Make Me Feel, Man In The Mirror, Black Or White, The Girl Is Mine, You Rock My World, and Billie Jean, to name a few. So please, if for some reason you’ve never checked out this man everyone is talking about right now, do so. There’s a good reason everyone’s talking about him, it’s because he really is a legend whose music not only deserves to live on forever, but will.
